| HintsIt's easy to beat this gym as long as you have a few grass/electric-types and maybe one electric/grass type(doesn't matter which) when you go against Swanna/Seismitoad. All of Jordin's Pokemon, with the exception of Seismitoad, are weak to electric-type moves. But Seismitoad, however, is unaffected by electric-type moves! You'll have to use something else, like a grass type, which is extremely-effective. Now beware of his Jellicent; It may be a lower level than two of his other Pokemon, but its strategy-fit move set makes up for it. If you heard him too much, he may attempt to use Recover repeatedly, so you'll need to use strong moves, which can lock him in a loop of either Recovering forever or trying to get a punch in. If you get into one of these locks, you may want to switch Pokemon while Jellicent uses Recover. So while you're busy dealing with his annoying Recover, you ave to also watch out for Jellicent's combination of Hex and Water Pulse. Water Pulse has a good chance of confusing the opponent, and Hex doubles up to 100 Power if used on a confused opponent; or an opponent with any stat-change at all, really. He may attempt to confuse you, then sneakily pack a harsh punch of Hex on your Pokemon while you're busy trying to lower its HP. The best solution for Jellicent would probably be to use a normal-type Pokemon who knows a grass-type move or two with decent power, so you can knock him out quick without getting stuck in an annoying loop. PrizesWell for one you get the badge of course! You also get some other neat stuff. Wave BadgeNew Unlimited Access To A Certain TMScald1 Rare Candy | |
